We'll talk about Erlang and Elixir in general; how to get Erlang and/or Elixir for your platform and we may even try to work a small/simple code kata as well.

It was great. From zero Erlang knowledge to my very own fizzbuzz module the following day :) Love the pattern matching, immutability and declarative style.

Very interesting intro into and contrast between Erlang and Elixir
Good 1st meetup. Glad to see the venue for next month's presentation.
I am sorry--due to circumstances beyond my control I've had to reschedule to July 15. I hope everyone will still be able to attend. Please change your RSVP if you need to so we have an accurate count for food.

Just a quick reminder; the meeting date has been changed to July 15. Please don't forget.

If you don't have Erlang installed, you probably want to install Erlang before the meeting: http://www.erlang.org/download.html If you care to play with Elixir and don't have it installed, contact me directly. We'd like people to have Erlang installed so we can do a quick coding exercise with either Erlang or Elixir.

I'm working on getting a venue set for the 2nd. As soon as I have a venue set I'll make an announcement.

Next: Invite friends
There are a lot of exciting things being built on top of the BEAM platform with both Erlang and Elixir; we'd like to get like-minded developers together to discuss and learn from each other
