New ways of looking at familiar problems, functional programming languages, bringing functional concepts to non-functional languages.
I've got a talk I do on implementing and using the maybe monad in c# (I presented it at the East Tennessee .net user group last year, and I'm presenting it at CodeStock and DevLink this year). I originally gave the talk because I had no idea what a monad was - there's no better way to learn something than to give a talk about it (of course, after diving way way deep into the topic). I'd be interested in giving a talk on something else I know nothing about (yet).
I enjoy having my mind blown by unfamiliar languages and concepts.
Loving it! Can't wait for next month!
