Humanitarian Toolbox Information & Hacking on Crisis Checkin app

Let's get busy and build some code to help Humanitarian Toolbox!

Hopefully you had a chance to meet Bill Wagner at last month's meetup (if not, no worries!).  This month we are going to start getting our feet wet with the "Crisis Checkin" app.  We'll go over the basic requirements of the app, build some wireframes, and then start actually creating the app in Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android (the Windows Phone one could use some work too, if that's your sort of thing).

This is meant to be a group / hands on / hacking type session, so please bring equipment:

• Laptop

• Visual Studio or Xamarin Studio

• Xamarin.Android and/or Xamarin.iOS

Don't worry if you don't have a license, we can pair up with people who do, or use the Indie version to get started!

Let's do something awesome for the world with our skills!

    Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the short notice, but tonight's event is now cancelled due to a power outage in the Epitech offices.

Please watch out for future updates about rescheduling this event!

Thanks for getting back to me. Read your comment but didn't get a chance to reply till now.

Having it run on the free tier sounds great. Does that mean we're doing Android only, no iOS or WinPhone?

Also doing iOS and WinPhone, I just haven't done any work on those yet!

Sorry Jeff :( we tried to reach out to all as soon as possible. I hope you had a good dinner and did not have to go too far out of your way. Apologies!
