Amit Rathi: Goodbye WordPress, Hello Jekyll (Talk/Workshop)

Currently have a blog or looking to create a blog? Amit is going to show us how to get the job done, in Ruby of course! The first half of our Meetup Amit will show us the coolness of Jekyll (http://jekyllrb.com/). He will then walk us through creating our own blogs. So bring your laptops, we're going hands on this month.

About Amit Rathi:

Formerly a freelance developer and currently working for the startup, AMBRDetroit as a software developer. A lot of my freelance web jobs were built on WordPress. As much as I am impressed with WordPress as platform and framework, I got bored very quickly and interested in working with something else. Thus, the discovery of Jekyll, a static-page, blog-aware generator and CMS for developers and hackers.
