Sam Newman: Building and Deploying Microservices
Details
What does your build look like when you have a single service? Now what about if you're trying to build and deploy 5, 10, 20 or even a hundred or more? This talk goes into the nitty gritty of managing build, and deployment of microservices.
We'll explore custom virtual images, docker, mesos. We'll also look at what role service discovery tools like Consul can play. But we'll also think about how you version control and build the services in the first place, and how to structure your build pipelines, and discuss physical deployment models and the pros and cons of different approaches.

My name is Sam Newman, a techie at ThoughtWorks (http://www.thoughtworks.com/). Aside from other things I've committed sporadically to open source projects, spoke at more than a few conferences, and wrote some things including the book Building Microservices (http://buildingmicroservices.com/) for O'Reilly.
