Title: Growing Pains
Facilitator: Candice Mesk
Some small children experience physical pain when they're growing, known as growing pains. It can be a painful journey for grownups to grow their skills and knowledge, especially with invisible pressures which are self inflicted. This talk describes healthy mindsets for growth, conditions for flow and ease at work, with ways to identify opportunities to shift perspectives.

Title: ChatOps
Facilitator: Pieter Koornhof
To move fast and maintain stability in development and operations, it is important to have a culture of automation, measurement and sharing. ChatOps helps form this culture by moving all your everyday tasks into one place, making your tools part of your conversation.
Pieter is a senior .net developer at entelect.co.za. He is passionate about Domain Driven Design, Clean Code and anything that makes the developer experience better. He runs numerous training initiatives for these at Entelect and blogs about them at sneakycode.net. He is interested in creating new ways for teams to collaborate. He digs knockout.js, angular.js and javascript in general.

Title: Maybe U2 should have used Elasticsearch
Facilitator: Jurgens du Toit
Elasticsearch is an up and coming technology that enables you to easily add search to any application. This talk will delve into some of the features available in Elasticsearch to an applications developer, and look at some of the tooling out there.
Jrgns tries to write good code for a living. He even succeeds at it sometimes. When he isn't writing code, he's wrangling data as a hobby. Sometimes the data wins, but we don't talk about that. Ruby and Elasticsearch are his weapons of choice, but his ADD always allows for new interests.
