Wearable tech!

Details
Back to school is better than ever with Arduino Woman’s workshop in Wearable Technology. Did you know you could sew LEDs with conductive thread? Make a brighter statement this year on the first day of school with a LED patch for your backpack, shirt, or hat. Bring your own garment or accessory to add lights or make something from fabric provided. Arduino Woman will bring all other materials and tools necessary for us to 1) Design, 2) Prototype, and 3) Make! (sew!)
We look forward to seeing you, join us, be ahead of the curve of the maker movement by jumping into wearable technology possibilities with Tenaya Hurst, a local Arduino maker. She will bring a mini-maker faire with her for this special, end of summer workshop with Devoxx4Kids.
This is our next workshop in the series on Internet of Things (IOT). Thank you for your support and participation!
Recommended Age: 7-14 years
To participate in the workshop each participant will need a wearable kit. The kit can be purchased from Arduino Woman for $15 prior to the workshop by paying in cash/Paypal/check.
