Digital Edge 10: When PR meets Digital

Hi everyone,

Hope you're well and ready for Christmas. We wanted to get one last Digital Edge in before the end of the year, ending the year on a nice round 10 meetups before the Christmas get away. So this month's Digital Edge will be on December 12th.

Oliver Chesher, director of Admiral PR has very kindly agreed to come along and do a talk on something he's passionate about, How PR and digital people can profit together. Success in digital marketing is down to that perfect combination of technical skills and communications skills. If a brand’s site is designed, built and optimised properly, that’s half the battle won. If the brand is communicative, interactive, content rich and well publicised, that’s the other half.

So how can professionals from the two skills-sets come together to build an offering that works for clients? Where is the blurring between the offering of a digital agency and a PR agency? How can we understand each other better? And how can we partner up so everyone benefits?

Oliver Chesher is a director of Admiral, a national agency specialising in PR and marketing communications. Having represented some global brands, Oliver is now an entrepreneur himself, growing his own business and helping clients to do the same.

The talk's sure to pave the way for some great collaborations in the New Year, and offer some insight on how to boost your offering as a digital agency.

As always, Inca have a great range of food available beforehand, so we hope to see everyone there for a very festive Digital Edge!

Thanks.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
