Come one, come yee all to our regular event but with a one-off difference.

In honour of Ada Lovelace Day and in support of the Peterborough STEM Festival, we have a special debate lined up for this month.

Special DPiP Women in STEM Debate Night

Keynote talk by:
Suw Charman-Anderson
Founder of Ada Lovelace Day, journalist, social software consultant, blogger and public speaker.

The History of Ada Lovelace Day - How it all started and how it has become a global celebration of women in STEM.

Keynote talk will be followed by a panel discussion featuring special guests working in or involved in STEM.

On the panel:

  • Liz Knight - Academic Director University Centre Peterborough
  • Samidha Anand - Senior Design Engineer
  • Hilary Lucas - Development Engineer

Audience participation is welcomed and questions and comments can be posted on twitter using #DPiPDebate in advance and during the evening (just like Question Time!).

Please join us for an evening of informal lively discussions on the challenges we face getting girls and women into STEM fields.

(Blokes very much welcome too!)
