Mandarin Ogilvie is one of Ottawa's top Chinese restaurants.
This my favourite Chinese restaurant. Even though the price of dim sum are the most expensive in Ottawa and the portion is super small, I still love the taste of the food, especially the steamed rice roll. No other restaurant can do the same thing.
However, for dim sum I don't like the fact that 50% of them are FRIED. Fried shrimp, eggplant, tofu, taro, flour ball, etc. Traditional dim sum should be STEAMED instead of FRIED. Anyway I think it's because 90% of the customers love fried stuff and so they must cook it that way.
