Adelaide Dinners and Diners is a group where social and interesting people of all ages, gender and backgrounds meet and taste the unique flavours of Adelaide cuisine. That is what makes our group interesting! We all have something unique to share!
Our members love food and acknowledge that Adelaide is abounding with restaurants that offer a variety of different cuisine to complement our diverse heritage and community.
Our dinners are about getting a real taste of the cuisine. As such we negotiate a menu specifically created for our dinner groups that will guarantee each guest will have several authentic tempting choices.
It is not about having one dish and feeling disappointed you did not choose well since the plate of the person next to yours looks more appetising. Now you can try that dish too!
We put lots of different dishes on the table so you can try and get to know the cuisine on offer. Our aim is to give you different choices of entree, mains and dessert. Depending on the cuisine, on average you will be tasting at least ten different dishes. And best of all, it is about sharing with new friends
Food is important, but so is good company.
Our social dinners are unique since they concentrate in offering you a whole dining experience by making sure all members participate in conversation. Each of our dinners include interactive team building activities and ice breakers specially designed to encourage conversation. They are designed to make our members relax and shine while having fun.
Our group is not just about meeting and eating together, it is about you.
Our group is about sharing a special evening where at the end of it you will feel that you were a member of a group that shared food, shared laughter and shared an experience. We believe it is the best way to expand your circles of friends.
There are also prizes to be won! So it is not just about having fun, you can win some cool things too! And no member of our groups ever leaves empty handed.
Guests are encouraged to swap seats during the night so they have the opportunity to get to know as many people as possible. Just think how many people you could meet!
Each dinner is hosted to make you feel welcome and encourage you to be a part of the group. You are a guest, and they are there to make you feel like one! They will greet you and encourage you to join in. They make sure you have a positive dining experience which will make you want to join us time and time again.
Apart from being interactive, our dinners are also educational while being highly entertaining. We include entertainers just for our guests.
Our entertainers will sing, dance or have a special presentation of their cultural art to entertain our guests.
Because we love your company, our group has introduced a loyalty card system.

Payments for Dinners
Payment will be expected in full within five days of receiving your RSVP.
We will always ask for our dinners to be paid up front. This is done to make sure our members can relax on the night and takes away the need to exchange money awkwardly on the night.
Furthermore, our dinners menus are specially negotiated with the venue for our group, and as such, the establishments expect payment up front based on the number of members attending. This must received and finalised 14 days prior to the scheduled event.
If payment is not received, unfortunately your attendance will not be noted and your place may be given to another member. Payment can be made via PayPal by using my email address email@example.com Alternatively you can pay direct deposit to Lian White Bsb 035033 account 227746
I am the organiser of this group, and I am pleased to be your hostess. Of course, this is not my source of income. I do work full time and organising these dinners are extremely time consuming. I have created this group because I love good company and great food.
Your assistance in prompt payment is greatly appreciated so I can continue to offer these dinners for all members to enjoy. I do not have the personal budget to be able to support no shows on the night, so please do keep this in mind when RSVP acceptance of the dinners on offer. I do ask you to be respectful of this fact so I can continue to run this group for the enjoyment of all.
As previously mentioned, I do not want to be in a position to have to chase my members and fellow diners for payment, which is not my aim at all.It is important that If you feel that you cannot attend our scheduled event, due to some personal unforeseen circumstances, kindly change your RSVP immediately to "no" and then some other member can take your place.
Dinners and Diners members at time of membership acceptance are directed to our pages section in regards to information on how our group is run.
It is strongly suggested for all members to refer to the full website and read the pages section where all terms and conditions are clearly specified for members reference.
Phone applications do not provide full access to information of terms and conditions of the Dinners and Diners group.

Refunds offered if:
the Meetup is cancelled
Full refunds given if member withdraws fourteen days prior to the scheduled date of the scheduled dinner. If cancellation is received within fourteen days of the scheduled dinner, refunds may be considered only if there is a waiting list and another member takes (with full payment) the exiting members place.
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
