Container Gardening
Whether you're growing on a balcony, supplementing your garden plot or just wanting to beautify a patio, containers are a great way to produce your own edibles in a manageable way. This step-by-step workshop focuses on challenges of growing edibles in containers - specific to Phoenix and the Southwest. Learn about potting soils, watering options, mulch and the importance of location. Be prepared to take lots of notes as Vynnie the Gardener shares his professional tricks-of-the-trade and his holistic methods for success to get big results in a small space. This session of Container Gardening will focus on what you can grow during the hot summer months.
You have to log on to the VPA website above and RSVP....there is a $15 fee due at the door. If we arrive early, about 5:30 we can look through the SEED LIBRARY!!!!!

$15 fee is payable at the door with cash or check. (Make checks out to Valley Permaculture Alliance). This location also takes credit cards.
The Valley Permaculture Alliance (VPA) offices are located at 1122 E Washington St, Phoenix. On the light-rail, it is accessible from E Washington and the intersection at 12th St. The offices are set back from the street, so turn when you see 1122 on a large beige wall. Take a right and you can’t miss it.
