Followers of Jesus commited as a body of Christ to bear each others' burdens, encourage one another, hold each other accountable and to work side by side serving our neighbor.
We gather in various places around Colorado Springs to serve our community and each other. We have no plans to ever own property or to set up a structure that would inhibit us from being Christ in the world by diverting our focus and energy to maintaining places/programs.
Our goal is to be:
Accepting, internationally aware/active, honest (about what’s really going on in the world), serving, joyful, passionate, family, prayerful, Spirit-led, unprejudiced, diverse (as the community nearby – age, belief, background, race, color, etc.), welcoming, relevant, scriptural/Biblical, flexible/adaptable, prepared, united, caring, humble, hungering/thirsting for righteousness, unselfish/generous, nonjudgmental, inclusive, informed, unfettered (by culture/tradition in the way of potentially good practices getting implemented), incorporative of the arts, safe for questions/doubts, connected, missional, responsive, outwardly focused, bold …

Instead of emphasis on theoretical, emphasis on practical/real
We believe that God created us and that there is a way of life that He intended for us to live that is more healthy and more enjoyable -- and that His commands to us are intended to help us live that life instead of taking a path of self-destruction. We believe Jesus is His Son, and that through Him we can be reconciled to God and be forgiven for serving ourselves instead of following God perfectly. We believe committing to relationship with other followers (church) is part of God's desire for us. We believe that we are to put ourselves in a position for God to gradually transform us into His image and that part of that is us trying to imitate Jesus in our lives.
We are just one church that is part of the church as a whole, working to bring God's kingdom to wherever we can ... NOW -- not waiting to be rescued and carried away in the future.
