If you just purchased a new DSLR or have one that you want to learn how to use off Auto mode, we encourage you to join us in one of our various discuss and practice sessions.

You don’t even need an SLR to come out and enjoy being out and about learning, discussing and sharing your thoughts on photography. If you have a cell phone .. you have a camera!

You may even make a new friend or two while you are at one of the meetups! It’s been known to happen! Photography, new friends and fun … it happens!

We’ve put this site together for those that want to get more familiar with their cameras without it costing them an arm and a leg.

The cost for the sessions varies depending on the subject matter and or the models needed to learn the subject at hand. Discuss and practice sessions may cost anywhere from $5 to $25 to cover the cost of the space and or models needed to cover the topic.

Our goal is to help amateur photographers get familiar with their cameras.  Our goal is to help improve the quality of your pictures.

Sessions are kept small in size so we can try to give everyone one-on-one help.

We’ve been asked if we are professional photographers and are qualified to host these types of sessions. Our answer is, of course not! If we were, these sessions could run hundreds of dollars!

What we are is a group of experienced photographers who have been at this for a very long time and want to share what we know with others. Since we don’t make a living from photography, we don’t consider ourselves professionals. That does not mean that the quality of our images and our knowledge is not equivalent.

We are not here to get rich as much as we are here to enjoy sharing what we know with those that are just getting started. Once you know more, you may want to venture on to the more advanced tutorial sessions on this or any other site or studio or professional photographer!

One learns by talking to as many people as they can about photography. We highly encourage everyone to go and attend as many tutorial sessions as possible here, there or anywhere!

The more you learn, the more comfortable you are with your camera. The more comfortable you are with your camera, the more and more your images will come out as you intended them to be!

Our sessions consist of The Exposure Triangle, Getting to Know You Camera, Photoshop Basics, Studio Lighting, Natural Lighting and so on!

If there is something you want to know more about, let us know and we’ll see about scheduling a session on that particular subject!

We are here to have fun while learning, teaching and sharing the art of photography.
