Whether they should Refi, De-fi or Modify (or do nothing). Until you really know what your options are, it will be very difficult to decide what is your best next step.

This meetup will review information about California Deficiency Laws, IRS Debt Relief Act, Impact on credit, pros and cons of loan modification, short sale, bankruptcy or foreclosure.

This will be an open yet protected environment where homeowners can feel safe about sharing their worst experiences about their lender and get feedback from other homeowners and professionals who may have had the same experience and have good answers or solutions.

Many homeowners feel trapped and alone in this battle against their lender, who seems to have all the leverage. We want to have a forum where homeowners can get answers to questions so they can formulate their own plan of action against their lender.

This meetup is not for those looking to take advantage of Distressed Homeowners or just looking to buy a short sale or foreclosure. You must either have a property with negative equity, facing foreclosure or represent someone in that situation. This is a no pressure, non-judgemental environment where we are just looking solutions.
