Welcome, Tucson Dive Bar Mavens!

We're in search of those little neighborhood bars and the local stars who hang out in them. You know, right? Let me explain.

Where everyone knows your name? Where there's a jukebox with Freebird playing? Where you can challenge the pool table by adding your quarters to the queue? Always a handful of regulars sitting at the bar having a cold draft. It's dark. Not too big. Plenty of domestic beer on tap. Maybe a dart board or even a table shuffleboard! Sure the floors are a little sticky and all the bathroom stall doors don't lock, but it's home to many a good karaoke night and even the occasional live band. Who cares if there's no menu with fancy entrees? A giant plate of nachos will do! Lots of trucks and a few cowboy hats. A real Tucson bar. I could go on, but I think you probably have the idea by now.

We want to visit each and every neighborhood bar around Tucson. We want to chronicle our adventures. We hope to produce write-ups on each bar so we can help others find just the right place for their next celebration.
