Cork's First Docker Meetup

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Everyone is welcome to come along, this is meetup is not just for developers and engineers.

We have students, entrepreneurs, technical writers, manager etc. that are involved in Docker. These are meetups, and not lectures after all, we want to help bring the Cork tech community together to share ideas and build a network between companies, colleges and individuals.

GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE MEETUP

• Ensure you have a twitter account, and exchange twitter handles with other meetup attendees.

• This is a social and interactive event, not a lecture. Ask lots of questions.

• Talk to (lots of) people that you do not know!

• There are no prerequisites technology-wise. Familiarity with Linux command line will help you understand what's going on in the practical introduction to Docker that will be presented.

• Try to have a quick play around with the Docker Toolbox (Docker Engine, Docker Compose and Docker Machine), if possible!

• Everyone should be respectful to other meetup attendees, we take this very seriously. We want to encourage diversity in the group, and do not tolerate discrimination.
