Docker Meetup #4 - Docker for testing // Running MongoDB on Docker

Details
Welcome to Docker Meetup 4th edition!
Codecentric AG is hosting us for the 4th Docker Munich meetup, and will sponsor pizza and beer as well! The number of seats for this meetup will be limited to 80 so please RSVP as soon as possible and make sure to update your rsvp if your plans change.
We have two talks scheduled for this meetup:
"Pragmatic Docker for Testing"
by Eric Weikl:
An introduction on integration and acceptance testing with Docker. Eric will especially talk about ways of getting started ("low-barrier Docker") as opposed to a big-bang strategic switch. Talk well suited for beginners, some basic Docker knowledge will help.
"Running MongoDB on Docker for High Performance Deployments"
by Johannes Brandstetter, Lead DevOps Engineer, MongoSoup
This talk will give you a quick overview of Docker, show you best practices and patterns for Dockerfiles aimed at running MongoDB within Docker with real life examples from MongoSoup. One part will focus on performance and how much overhead Docker produces in comparison to native MongoDB instances. Johannes will also talk about which tools or frameworks in the Docker ecosystem have proven useful to orchestrate larger deployments with Replica Sets and Sharding (e.g. CoreOS, fleet, geard, vulcand, Kubernetes, etc.)
Hope to see all there!
