Jose Miguel Parrella is an Open Source Product Manager with the Microsoft Azure team in Redmond, Washington. He’s been in the open source field for over 15 years, with professional experience ranging from policy and advocacy to consulting and Linux systems integration. He joined Microsoft in 2010 as an open source strategist in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Talk: Container Solutions with open source in Azure

Summary: Introduce the full spectrum of container solutions for open source developers in Azure. It starts with Docker Hub integration in the portal for easy container deployment, Docker extension for Linux VMs, specialized distros like CoreOS, support for tools in the Docker ecosystem such as Swarm, Compose and Machine and Azure Container Service.
