Dockercon 2016: Highlights and Hackathon Kickoff

Have you heard about some of the new and exciting things (http://2016.dockercon.com/blog) to come out of Dockercon this year? Good stuff, right?

Docker is giving its local communities an inside look and resources into some of the new technology slated for Docker 1.12. We will also be going over some of the major announcements and roadmaps to come out of Dockercon from major players like Microsoft, Rancher, and more.

Docker is also launching an online Hackathon! There aren't too many details out yet, but there will be prizes and infamy at stake for the winners. Bring your laptops and game faces! We'll hash out some ideas and maybe form some teams, while offering some support to those of you new to Docker.

The event is taking place at WWT Advanced Technology Center (https://www2.wwt.com/services/atc/), or ATC, a facility dedicated to cloud technology exploration and large-scale capability demos.
