As Docker is becoming more widespread, we created a series of workshops that give hands-on experience for using Docker and its eco-system. This is a multi-part series of workshops that starts with the basics and increments with more use cases and tools over time.

Workshop #1 - Docker Introduction

This workshop covers Docker basics. You will progress from introductory hands-on experience using ready containers up to creating custom images, monitoring and troubleshooting interlinked containers. Learn the concepts and terminology used by Docker to describe infrastructure and more. You will leave with the skills and confidence to use Docker in a wide range of settings.

Prerequisites

Laptop with VirtualBox and Vagrant installed
Knowledge of bash and unix system administration.
With latest version of Vagrant run on the command line
