Let's hack!

Docker is organizing a 24 hour hackathon during the weekend before DockerCon US 2015 (http://dockercon.com/). The prize for the winners is a ticket for DockerCon and a chance to present their project during the conference.

Rules

As a Team of 1 to 3 hackers you will hack on a project using Docker as the central piece. You will have exactly 24 hours to complete this project. These 24 hours include the time to create all materials needed for your presentation.

At the end of the 24h, you

will have 90 seconds to present your project.

It is not allowed to start the project before the hackathon. However, we encourage you to think of the idea / team before coming to the hackathon.

While It is free to enter the DockerCon hackathon, we ask that you RSVP here (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dockercon-sf-hackathon-tickets-15613226581) so that we can get a more accurate count for space, food and beverage. The DockerCon hackathon is open to the first 300 registrations. Please help us spread the word so that we can make this our best hackathon yet.

Who

Even-though it is better to know about Docker before joining the hackathon, anyone can join.

Prize

The winning team will be offered:

• A ticket to DockerCon (an $899 value) for each of the team members

• A chance to present their project at DockerCon

Where

The hackathon will take place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis (https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_gi_new&groupID=45902403), 780 Mission Street San Francisco, CA 94103, where DockerCon will also be taking place.

During the event, several Docker employees will be there to answer technical questions and help you with using and tuning your Docker project.
