Docker 1.12, announced at DockerCon, is a major upcoming release of Docker. Announced at the recent DockerCon 2016, it introduces:

• orchestration

• clustering

• security features

• health checking

• improved plugins support

In this presentation, Mike Goelzer from Docker's SwarmKit team will describe these new features and help you get your hands on the latest builds of Docker to try them on your own.

Speaker Biography:

Mike Goelzer is an engineer, hacker and the open source product management lead for Docker’s Core Runtime. He is a member of the team that built Docker’s clustering technology Swarm, and has been an open source contributor to Docker engine. He currently works on the open source Docker Engine. Previously, Mike has been an entrepreneur, engineer, product manager, and a computational and bench chemist.
