Docs In Progress (http://www.docsinprogress.org) and Women in Film and Video-DC (WIFV) (http://www.wifv.org) have joined forces to co-present the WIFV/Docs In Progress Documentary Roundtable.

This program, usually held on the second Monday of every month builds on WIFV’s existing Documentary Roundtable speaker series and Docs In Progress’ filmmaker meet-up/support group formerly known as Documingles.

All Documentary Roundtable meetings are FREE and you do NOT need to be a WIFV member, Docs Insider, or alum of Docs In Progress to participate. This is a great way to get to know others in the DC-area documentary filmmaking community, build your network and know-how, and find out about other offerings of these two organizations.

So What's Happening Tonight?

Claude LaVallée, who spoke at our April Roundtable, is back to share with us more tips on how to get your documentary organized before you start production, and what pitfalls you need to watch out for as you create the film.

Claude recently served as an additional editor for Blood Brother (http://www.bloodbrotherfilm.com/), a feature documentary directed by Steve Hoover, that is the hit of film festivals across the country. She has edited, produced, and written numerous short- and long-form fiction and non-fiction pieces for clients spanning the documentary, corporate, education, and government worlds.

6:30-7:00 pm: Networking.
