Our Mission
• To teach dogs how to be happy, well balanced and good canine citizens.
• To educate dog owners how to be a leader and have a great relationship with their dog.
• To train and rehabilitate rescued dogs so that they can find and keep loving homes.

The Dog Behavior Center is located in Manhattan, and was founded by Kimberly Courtney, a former lawyer who decided to follow her passion for dogs, particularly those who are homeless or victims of abuse.

We believe that dog training should be fun for both the dog and the owner, and take a positive approach to training. Our goal is not only to teach dogs to be obedient, but also to educate owners about their dog’s natural instincts so that they can successfully take on a leadership role, and cultivate a positive and respectful relationship with their dog. This approach results in happy, healthy, obedient and mentally well balanced dogs.
