book recommendation from Michael McIntosh
Hello everyone, including all you folks in the other groups I haven't
met yet. I meet with the Springboro group. Hope the holidays (Holy
Days) are treating you well.
I've found a new book that some of you may be familiar with, but that
I'd like to recommend to the groups in general. It's called "Frequency"
and is written by Penney Peirce. She is someone who's been
around a long time, has a lot of experience teaching (over thirty
years) and seems to have a nuanced perspective on a number of things
we've been discussing.
She's developed her own system, as so many recent teachers have, to
frame her understandings. Those of you that have been at one of the
meetings with me in attendance know how tenacious I can be (those darn
NLPers!) about making sure the meaning of any given topic is made clear
both in depth and breadth. Penny Peirce's use of language works well
for me and hopefully will for you, too. In chapter 9, she takes on the
LOA material and gets at some of the more non-materialistic
issues I've been wrestling with as well as quite a few I haven't
thought of. Care to learn how to dematerialize? Interesting.
Enjoy the Holy Days. I'll see many of you at the next meeting.
