For the first time in a decade Raleigh citizens will have a new mayor. Many small, urban business owners wonder how this change will impact their businesses. Where do the candidates stand on supporting the growth of these businesses? How do the candidates envision growing small, urban businesses? What changes are necessary to promote business growth? How will the new mayor make these changes?
The questions are numerous. And we need answers. That’s why on October 6, 2011 at 6PM all three City Of Raleigh mayoral candidates will appear together for an open forum on urban business.
Candidates Nancy McFarlane, Billie Redmond, and Randall Williams will all participate. Bonner Gaylord, District E City Councilor, will moderate the event. But the discussion extends well beyond this one platform. We’re taking your questions on Twitter and Facebook. Mike Williams from the News and Observer’s triangle.com will be fielding questions and asking the candidates. We’ll also be live tweeting the event. This night is going to be momentous. And you need to be a part.
Register now! Limited capacity. Don’t miss this opportunity to speak directly to the candidates.
