DUX Turns 1 - Panel on UX in Central Florida

Our meetup turns one this month! To celebrate, we are taking a break from our normal workshop style events to host a panel featuring professionals working in the field of User Experience here in Central Florida.

We hear about UX all over the world, but what does it currently look like here in Orlando? How do professionals in our area get into this field? What does a day in their life look like? What UX topics are on their minds?

Our panel includes:

• Wes Brown, Director of UX at Pentaho

• Dennis Warner, Sr. UX Designer at OUC

• Chris Ratterman, HCI Researcher and Software Designer for NASA Exploration Systems

• Dan Hamer-Hodges, Product Management Director at The Walt Disney Company

When you RSVP you should see an option to submit a question that you would like to ask the panel, but we will also be taking questions live during the event.

Feel free to arrive as early as 6:30 for beer and pizza. The panel will begin at 7. After the meetup everyone is welcome to continue the night with the SUX (Social UX Meetup) where we will move to a local bar for additional conversation.
