Speed Networking: First Impressions

Come meet other Seattle professionals at this fun speed networking event! You'll get two minutes with each attendee. After meeting everyone, there will be plenty of time to mix and mingle and enjoy extended conversations.

The theme of tonight's speed networking is First Impressions. Introduce yourself with your "elevator pitch," a short soundbite encapsulating who you are and what your employer or business provides. Between meeting each attendee, write down a POSITIVE one or two word first impression of him or her. For example, "confidence and boldness," "clarity and intuitiveness," etc. After the meetup is over, the assistant organizer will collect and e-mail each member their list of first impression phrases. You'll gain new insights into how you are perceived by others while helping build positive self-images.

We're meeting at Mosaic, a community coffee house in the basement of the Seattle First Church building. Mosaic operates on a "no fixed price" menu, so you decide how much to pay for your food or drink purchase. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
