Drupal 8 (https://www.drupal.org/drupal-8.0) is officially here and we are super excited to invite you to Cape Town's Drupal 8 release event, at our November meetup on 19 November at 6pm.

The event will start off with an in-depth talk on Drupal 8 by D8 Core Contributor Michael Schmid (https://www.drupal.org/u/schnitzel), CTO of Amazee Labs Zurich, who will be sharing his insights and experience with us.
Michael Schmid aka Schnitzel is a key member and contributor to the Drupal community. Be it as a Drupal core contributor, mentor, speaker or organiser.
He will present the changes and improvements in Drupal 8 for editors, sitebuilders, frontend and backend developers. He will also answer the popular question, "For which projects should Drupal 8 already be used now?" and introduce some best practices for Drupal 8 implementations.
After the talk we will be having some drinks and snacks to celebrate!
