Drupal Global Sprint Weekend January 17-18, 2015

The Drupal Global Sprint Weekend January 17, 2015 and January 18, 2015, is being held in Gurgaon, Downtown to Delhi.

Everyone is welcomed to the Sprint. If you worked on Drupal, and you got the passion, you can contribute back. Make sure your machines are ready, please see instructions here -> https://drupal.org/project/drupal/git-instructions.

Prerequisites to attend the code sprint:

• Create an account on (http://drupal.org/)drupal.org (http://drupal.org/) if you don't have one yet.

• Download (https://dreditor.org/)Dreditor (https://dreditor.org/), a browser plugin for Firefox and Chrome.

• Install an IRC client like ChatZilla, a browser plugin, or Pidgin for Linux and Windows, or Adium for Macs. We will hang out on #drupal-contribute (read more on (https://drupal.org/irc)IRC and Drupal (https://drupal.org/irc)).

• A local web server (Acquia Dev Desktop (http://drupalize.me/videos/install-drupal-locally-dev-desktop), MAMP (http://drupalize.me/videos/installing-mamp-web-server), WAMP (http://drupalize.me/videos/installing-wampserver),LAMP (http://drupalize.me/videos/installing-web-server-ubuntu))

• Git (install (http://drupal.org/documentation/git/install) and configure (http://drupal.org/documentation/git/configure); video (http://drupalize.me/videos/install-git)).

• Install the latest version of (https://github.com/drush-ops/drush)Drush 7 (https://github.com/drush-ops/drush) .One liner installer: bash <(curl -s (https://gist.github.com/scor/7843568/raw/install-drush7.sh) https://gist.github.com/scor/7843568/raw/install-drush7.sh )

How to reach
Private Vehicle: You can come by your own private vehicle(No private jets please), Parking space available.
Delhi Metro: You will have to come to yellow line, get down at Sikandarpur Metro station, and catch Rapid metro to Vodafone boulevard towers location. Delhi metro and Rapid metro are interconnected, Delhi metro token and cards work for rapid metro too. From the metro station, take the free shuttle service to Udyog vihar, and get down at Peepal Chowk, there the office is walking location.
