I am so excited to announce the first event of the year 2013, We are conducting Drupal Hackathon in association with Hackerspace Mumbai. Sounds exciting, read further
Objective of the hackathon : Build stuffs based on the ideas, that you usually can not do during your regular office hours. You get following after participation.
- Chance to work on your idea and bring it into reality.
- Meet other Druplers and other technology experts
- Elevate your technical expertise
- Chance to work with other technology experts/
- Get introduced to the other technology advocates
About Hackerspace Mumbai: Hacker space conducts Hackathon , labothon , and tech talks. See more details at https://www.facebook.com/groups/hackerspace mumbai/. With the beginning of next year, hacker space and Drupal Mumbai is collaborating to conduct this event.
Event details : The first hackathon for the year 2013 and we move, by popular demand from the Central and Harbor Lines hackers, to Mulund.

Ground Rules for Hackathons
Everyone codes (even the organizers). No spectators.
Must form a team. We learn from each other.
Anyone can post a challenge.
The challenge/project can be either open source/proprietary.Both are welcome; and the latter’s IP will be respected
We encourage you to work through the night at the venue. [That's what a hardcore hacker would do]

Saturday
4:30 PM – Registrations
5:00 PM – Challenges are posted
6:00 PM – Coding starts
Sunday
5:00 PM – Show & Tell. Announcement of winners.
What you should bring:
Bring your tools – Laptop, music, IDE etc. We will provide AC area, desks and chairs to work.
While Internet connection may be made available, it’s best to build redundancies. So kindly get your own internet connection(dongle/hot spot) along, if possible.
There are places nearby for food that can be recommended. Tea and coffee are available on the house through the hackathon.
