2016 szeptember 9-10-én idén másodszorra kerül megrendezésre a Drupal Global Training Day. A nemzetközi Drupal Association által elindított eseménysorozat lehetőséget nyújt bárkinek, hogy megismerkedjen a Drupal webes tartalomkezelő rendszer alapjaival. A tréninget a világ több pontján ugyanazon a hétvégén rendezik meg a közösség aktív résztvevői, hogy bemutassák az érdeklődők számára, mit nyújt a Drupal, mire alkalmas és hogyan érdemes nekikezdeni a vele való munkának.

A magyar 'kiadást' szombaton, szeptember 10-én tartjuk.
A Cheppers csapata (Hojtsy Gáborral kiegészülve) most a Drupalban már tapasztaltabbakat szeretné megismertetni a Drupal 8 által kínált újdonságokkal a korábbi verziókhoz képest.

A magyar tréning fejlesztőkre fókuszál, a nap során a következőkről lesz szó:

• Configuráció menedzsment és ConfigSchema API használata

• Dependency Injection

• Plugin API

• Cache API

• Render API

• Twig

• Composer

• Services

A következőket jó, ha már ismered vagy tanulmányozod a képzés előtt:

• OOP PHP

• YAML (legalább kezdő szinten)

• Drupal 8 telepítése lokális környezetben

• Külön jól jön, ha van bármilyen korábbi Drupal fejlesztői ismereted

Miért Drupal?
A Drupal nyílt forráskódú tartalomkezelő rendszer, amellyel weboldalakat és szolgáltatásokat lehet fejleszteni. A rendszer a hatalmas nemzetközi közösség által folyamatosan fejlődik, jelenleg a 8. verziójánál jár. A Drupal legnagyobb előnye a flexibilitása - teljes mértékben testreszabható mind funkcionalitásban, mind kinézetben, és sokezernyi modul, kiegészítő áll rendelkezésre a rendszert használók számára. A Drupalt választotta többek között a Fehér Ház és a NASA is, és itthon is egyre ismertebb és elterjedtebb.

A rendezvényt a Cheppers csapata szervezi, a forma kötetlen lesz, a tanulást tapasztalt Drupal fejlesztők segítik.

Drupal Global Training Day 2016’s autumn edition will be held on September 9 and 10. The initiative for educating people about the open source content management system, Drupal was launched by the Drupal Association and it is organized quarterly in several cities around the globe. The event is a great opportunity to make attendees familiar with the basics of Drupal. The goal of our training this time is to introduce Drupal 8 from a developer point of view to those who already have experience with the platform.
If there’s a need for it, the training will parallelly run in English as well.

The training will be held by Cheppers’s experienced Drupal developers (joined by Gábor Hojtsy), who will talk about the followings:

• Configuration management and ConfigSchema API

• Dependency Injection

• Plugin API

• Cache API

• Render API

• Twig

• Composer

• Services

Your job will be easier, if you have some:

• OOP PHP knowledge

• YAML (basic) knowledge

• Experience with running Drupal 8 on local machine

• Any kind of previous experience with Drupal

Why Drupal?

Drupal is an open source content management system for building websites and online services. The platform is supported by a large international community that continuously maintains and develops it. The biggest advantage of Drupal is its flexibility, as it is fully customizable in looks and behaviour. There are thousands of modules and extensions available for the users. Among many others, Drupal is the platform of choice for Sony Music, the White House, and also for NASA. This spring, the event will take place in Budapest, on April 9, between 10-5PM. The training will be conducted by the Drupal developers of Cheppers, and will be in English as well if there are people interested. The training is free, but you will need to bring your own laptop. Information about how to prepare will be sent out in an email a few days prior to the event.
