Demo and launch of Drupal based Event framework Presenter: Matt Nolin Serial Entrepreneur, investor, Drupal believer and Owner of Sampleguy

Beta launch of a promising event platform developed on Drupal 6.x bundled with multiple features including online and offline activities required to organize and optimize the efforts of events.

Expectations: Challenges and journey experience from concept to launch of project, achievements and roadmap of the initiative

Technical Q&A on Latest in Drupal Session Driver: Kathryn Benedicto (Drupal Expert)

Kathryn is a freelance Drupal developer and serves nonprofit organizations under the banner of her consulting company, Happy Snowman Tech. Her clients include the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Not in Our Town Project, and the Leadership Learning Community.

After spending more than ten years building enterprise-class applications at several Silicon Valley companies, Kathryn now blends her passion for and understanding of social change work with her technical expertise to craft creative, powerful web solutions for nonprofits.

Expectations: Open Q&A to address and share latest in Drupal and also share the development challenges, issues, concerns, tips and approach specific to Drupal framework.

Review and guidelines to architecture of a mobile site with Drupal

Session Presenter: Kieran Lal, Drupal Evangelist and Technical director for business development for Acquia (http://www.acquia.com)

Kieran will review 5 different implementations of how to mobile experiences with Drupal. He will then review the 5 mobile app implementations including: mobify, Drupalcon Chicago app, Whitehouse app, Timeshutter SF, and the soon to be released Publisher app.
Expectations: Attendees can expect to learn about a wide range of mobile implementation options to plan for their mobile and Drupal website integration.
