Zero 2 Go in 13 days:Enmetric.com Case Study Part 2: The developer's perspective

Presenter: Kristen Pol, Hook 42, Inc

Tagline: Do it fast, but do it right.

Just because you are building a Drupal site in a "hurry" doesn't mean you should cut corners. Hook 42 team, Aimee Degnan & Kristen Pol, took on a smallish Drupal project with a very aggressive timeline but still did the right things... kickoff meeting, research, module assessment, content tuning, search engine optimization (SEO), responsive theming, media/wysiwyg integration, and more.

The Enmetric.com Drupal process and architecture is applicable to sites of any size. Learn how the Enmetric.com site was built using the Drupal framework including:

* Distribution selection
* Layout management
* Content architecture
* Wysiwyg integration
* Custom forms
* Responsive theming

    Thanks Bill! Interesting that you can edit yourself though.

    Thanks Anjan... I'm not worried about my account email address but I had put my email address in the original description for this meetup (at the end) but it looks like Bill was able to deal with it! Thanks :)

    You can also disallow other members from sending you direct messages via a privacy seting in your profile. This is how I have mine setup. Once again, thank you for the presentation. I also wanted to introduce myself to Aimee but I had to leave for another meeting for which I was running already late. Earlier, I had sent a "newbie" question to Aimee, I hope she doesn't think I am a spammer.

    Hello Kristen, Thank you very very much for the presentation, and answering all my "newbie" questions. Regarding spams, I think you are protected. Your email is not exposed. However, members can send you direct messages by clicking on your profile link without exposing your email address. Your address may become visible if you reply to the message sent to you, but you may choose to reply from an alternate email address (not giving your regular email address).

    Oh! You can't edit the meetup info? Wow... that's pretty annoying. No worries, then.

    Bill - can you take off my email address from this description? I'm worried about spammers ;) Thanks!

    Does this group have an experience with Aegir/cPanel in AWS? What do you think about stability and benefits? Also looking forward to hear your experience in Drupal for cloud based application. Finally, very interested in connecting with Drupal pro-bono or socially minded developer (and co-founders) who can help build a very ambitious project for developing world using Drupal VOIP and CRM CORE -- Connecting unconnected communities. We are starting non-profit followed by for profit for NGOs.
