Welcome, Dublin Book Readers!

We are a large book club with a small group feel. So don't let our membership number fool you. A lot of our meetings range from around 5-15 people. I try to vary the books (classics, fiction, non-fiction, etc.) and have several discussions scheduled each month to allow for each paticular member's taste in books, schedule, and location. I would like this to be a group where we can meet to discuss books in a lighthearted yet insightful way.

At each meeting we discuss the book(s) listed in title of the event and described in the details of that same event. It is best that you have read or attempted to read most of the book before the meeting. I will post discussion questions for each book (if I can find discussion questions) under the "Files" tab on the site.

I may add social or volunteer events to the calendar. So please be sure to check out the calendar on a regular basis. You should receive email reminders of each event, as well, so missing an event should not be a problem.

I look forward to meeting all members. Please feel free to suggestion books, discussion locations, and happy hour spots or anything you feel would benefit the group at any meeting you attend.
