Joint CoreOS bonus meetup!

This month we are delighted to announce a joint meetup between our group and the Dublin Go Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Dublin-Go-Meetup/) group on Tuesday October 6th 2015.

• Brandon Phillips (LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/brandonphilips) / Github (https://github.com/philips)), the CoreOS (https://coreos.com/) CTO is in town and has offered to give a couple of talks that will appeal to attendees of both meetups. He’ll be talking about:

• Go at CoreOS

• CoreOS and Kubernetes

• And as a last-minute guest, Casey Bisson (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/casey-bisson/2/307/b03), product lead (and Engineer) for Triton Elastic Container Infrastructure/DevOps in Joyent (https://www.joyent.com/), will talk to us about:

• The value proposition driving shift to Dockerization - faster, testable, more reliable deployments of applications built from smaller components and the consequent new demands on infrastructure.

Zendesk will be hosting the event, so we’ll be allocating a set number of RSVPs to each meetup. Seats are going to fill fast, so please make sure to RSVP early, and if you can’t make it to release the RSVP to allow a fellow enthusiast to take your place.

It will be a bonus meetup for us, Dublin DevOps members! Our normal ones will continue their pace from mid-October.

As usual we will have beer, pizza and fun times.

Talks are scheduled to start 6:30pm, venue doors open from ~6:00pm. Looking forward to see you all!
