Kick-off Meetup

This is our first meeting with the objective of bringing together a small initial quorum of members to discuss how we want this community to evolve, and suggest topics and locations for subsequent meetups.

The folks from the Irish Computer Society have very kindly offered us a meeting room for our event. The directions to the office is described below, including instructions for bus, dart, or driving.

"We are based on 87/89 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 across the road from The Ballsbridge Hotel formerly known as The Jury’s Hotel. The bus routes that serve the area are the 4,7,8, 18, 27x and 120, you can get off the bus at Stop No. 414 which is just outside the Ballsbridge Hotel and directly across from our premises. You can also get the Dart to the Lansdowne Road Dart station which is about a 10 minute walk to our premises. We are beside the Bank of Ireland branch, but I have attached a photo of the front of our building so you can see which building it is. Parking is available in the Ballsbridge Hotel across the road at a rate of €5 if you mention that you were at an event with ICS."
