This group is for WOMEN who identify as LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, or Questioning). It is a Social Club for adult women (must be over 18 years of age) who want to meet new people, develop new friendships, participate in common interest activities (the possibilities are endless), network, share resources, build 'a sense of community' and have a bit of Craic! This Club is suitable for single women & couples.      

This is an inclusive group for women of all ages and backgrounds who identify as LGBTQ. We cater to different ages & interests by organising particular MeetUps that meet their needs.

We organise on & off scene Events: movie nights, book clubs, walking/hiking outings, museum visits, Mother's groups, coffee MeetUps, trips abroad, FUNdraising events, pub nights, clubbing, theatre, meals out, sports etc.  We also support LGBTQ political causes and Events in our wider Community. Events are largely based in Dublin & surrounding counties and now some events are being run/hosted in other locations around Ireland.

Special efforts are made to facilitate women who come to events on their own or for the first time. Arrangements are made to meet up with anyone interested before an event so you don't have to go on your own. We have all been 'Newbies' at one time or another ;)

We have 'Meeter Greeters' to meet you before an Event and also to ensure that everyone is given a warm welcome. An ethos/culture of mutual respect, courtesy, warmth, dignity and inclusivity for all members........ is expected.

We currently have over 50+ Event Organizers on our Leadership Team. Event Organizers volunteer their time & energy organising exciting MeetUp Events for all members. Our MeetUps are varied and many of them are free.

Feel free to suggest any ideas you have for exciting/alternative events. Your ideas are always welcome ;) You will also have the opportunity to become an Event Host if you wish.

Over 690+ MeetUp Events have taken place so far......... and feedback has been very positive. Camaraderie between members is developing and meaningful friendships have been made.

This Club is non commercial/non-profit.  Membership is free. We collect 2 Euros at some of the MeetUps for our Financial Administration Fund. We have occasional FUNdraising Events to support the current & future development of Running Amach.

The businesses on the left, have made generous  donations to our Financial Administration Fund. In return, they receive sponsorship status & we support & promote their business.

This is not a dating website. Also, we are not a running club...although some members do MeetUp to run together & train for the marathon ;))

'Running Amach' is a play on the phrase Running Amok. 'Amach' means 'out' in Gaelic ;)
