Spark After Dark / Spark for Fraud Detection

I’m delighted to announce the latest Spark meetup with guest speakers Chris Fregly from IBM and Eddie Baggott from BAE Systems, which will take place on October 15th at Nitro EMEA HQ at 1 Burlington Plaza on Burlington Road.

Chris Fregly will present “Spark After Dark: Real time Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning with Spark”. Chris is a long time Spark contributor, former Databricks employee and is now Principal Data Solutions Engineer with IBM. He is flying in from San Fran on his way to the Spark Summit in Amsterdam.

Eddie Baggott is Functional Architect at BAE Systems and will talk about some of the work he is doing on fraud detection in the financial services sector using Spark.
