July meeting

Details
Welcome to the second reunion of DublinCSS, the meetup dedicated to the love for the basic building blocks of the web - HTML & CSS and the ecosystem developed around them. Here is what is on the menu for the evening.
Speaker #1 - Ricardo Zea (live, via Skype)
Ricardo Zea is a Full-Stack Designer originally from Medellín, Colombia with a passion for web design, CSS and HTML. He currently lives and works in Dayton, OH, in the USA. He's the organizer of the CodePen Dayton meetup and has published two books: one alone - "Mastering Responsive Web Design" - and one as a co-author - "Web Developer's Reference Guide". Ricardo is also a very active member of online communities like StackOverflow or CodePen. Find more about him on his website - https://about.me/ricardozea
Ricardo will talk to us about how Media Queries and Sass don't usually "mixin" properly and how to bring balance to the Force... I mean the Code.
Speaker #2 - Yours truly, Adrian Sandu (live and in person)
I am UI-oriented front-end developer, author, UX enthusiast, focused on RWD, CSS architecture and performance enhancement. I've published a number of articles on SitePoint.com ( https://www.sitepoint.com/author/asandu/ ). My hobbies include video games, digital photography and reading.
The topic of my talk will be "Front-End Development after Internet Explorer" and the changes that (should) have happened in the wake of Microsoft ending support for "oldIE" browsers (IE8 - IE10) in January 2016.
