We've two talks lined up for this month: TypeScript and JS microservices. We have space for a 3rd talk so if anyone out there is keen to step up just reach out to us either here or on Twitter.
Introducing TypeScript: Large scale JavaScript application development made easy - Remo H. Jansen @OweR_ReLoaDeD (https://www.twitter.com/OweR_ReLoaDeD)
Remo, organiser of the Dublin TypeScript meetup, will be giving us the lowdown on TypeScript and how it allows you manage complexity building non-trivial applications.
Playing in the Mud - Dean McDonnell, nearForm @McDonnellDean
Microservices and microservice systems are at their best when they are flexible and easy to modify. This talk looks at a complete microservice system written end to end in Javascript. It will show it running and demonstrate adding live monitoring as a set of additional microservices. Throughout we will discuss lessons learned and when it makes sense to build little balls of mud.
