We've two great talks for you this month! Desktop apps and Angular/React integration.
Beyond the browser: from Web apps to desktop apps - Adam Lynch, Teamwork, @lynchy010 (https://twitter.com/lynchy010)
A look at what it's like to develop desktop applications using NW.js and Electron, the ups and downs of building one, living with one, using one codebase for the desktop and the Web, and more. Ultimately you'll be convinced that as a Web developer, not only do you already possess all of the skills to make great modern desktop apps, but thanks to new powerful APIs at your disposal, the desktop is actually where your skills can be leveraged the most.
Seamless angular-react integration - Danilo de Castro, Logentries, @daniloster (https://www.twitter.com/daniloster)
This talk will be about Danilo's experiences consuming react components in angular apps. It goes beyond the normal approaches that are in place i.e. a component without routes. Danilo will talk about his library, ng-reactify (https://github.com/daniloster/ng-reactify), which presents a way to create relative links in your react component, that can be consumed underneath an angular route pre-defined in any app.
