UPDATE: Due to the interest in these talks, we have moved the location to a larger room in the Radisson Blu Hotel next door on Golden Lane.
We have an evening of great talks lined up and a fantastic speaker for our next meetup! This means there is limited space so RSVP early and please cancel if you won't make it.
The talks will cover the new features in MongoDB 3.2, infrastructure and deployments concerns, and a session on using Spark with MongoDB for analytics.
From 18:15 to 21:00 on Tuesday 15th March:
• Part1: New Features of MongoDB 3.2 Dur: 30 minutes
• Break: Duration 10 minutes
• Part2: Infrastructure and Deployment duration 30 minutes
• Break: 10 Minutes
• Part3: MongoDB Analytics with Spark Dur: 30 minutes
Bryan Reinero (@blimpyacht) is US Developer Advocate at MongoDB fostering understanding and engagement in the community. Previously Bryan was a Senior Consulting Engineer at MongoDB, helping users optimize MongoDB for scale and performance and a contributor to the Java Driver for MongoDB. Earlier, Bryan was Software Engineering Manager at Valueclick, building and managing large scale marketing applications for advertising, retargeting, real-time bidding and campaign optimization. Earlier still, Bryan specialized in software for embedded systems at Ricoh Corporation and developed data analysis and signal processing software at the Experimental Physics Branch of Ames Research Center
There will be drinks and pizza, we also plan to head to the pub afterwards.
