Welcome to Troop 185
~Love scouts as a kid? Love your dog? Remember the joy of earning badges ~ you can do that with your dog This group is for anyone who is a member of "Dog Scouts of America" and/or is interested in joining. (You need to become a member of Dog Scouts of America DSA dues are $25 per year for the first human and $5 per year for each additional participating human in the same household. Participation at the troop level is a "perk" of national membership You may visit up to 2 troop events to meet us before you join.
DSA is a 501(C) (3) organization, is about educating the public about responsible pet ownership, promoting fun and learning ~ the dog is the scout! Hiking, camping, agility, tracking, clicker training, swimming, pet therapy, flyball, and water rescue, are just some of the activities we can do. We also promote teaching our furry friends to be good canine citizens and encourage community activities such as fund raising for charities, visits to hospitals/nursing homes,
