Optimized for Humans: Using Smart Website Marketing to Engage, Persuade & Sell

SEO gets people to your website, but search engines don't make purchase decisions; humans do. By understanding how to appeal to the eye, the mind and the heart, we can use what we know about buyers to draw them in, make a solid connection, and overcome resistance. With plenty of website-makeover examples, we'll learn how to tap into both the logical and emotional aspects of purchase behavior. And to help improve our site's analytics, we'll take off our "seller's hat" and put on our "buyer's hat" to look at the websites we create from the perspective of site visitors.  Tom Tortorici is a long time web designer, writer and marketing who is focused on engaging people on websites.  You don't want to miss this great presentation!  Be sure and tell your friends to register and come!

Also note that from 6-7:00 PM prior to the main topic for the evening bring your questions, ideas and thoughts to share during an open time where we all can share and learn from each other.

sometimes we get lost in the tech aspect, we forget the real purpose of a site. Tom did a great job of reminding us that a site is for the viewer, to engage them visually and mentally.

Good meeting, good presentation. If you weren't there, you missed a great opportunity to learn more about how to connect with your target, people.

I am so sorry that I cannot make it, but my husband and I have tickets to Chastain that night. I promise I will be back ready and raring to go in September! See you all then!
