Maker Meetup

Have an idea but need some help figuring out where to get started or what creative technologies might help bring the idea to life? Maybe you just want to bounce your idea off someone else? Drop in to the LexIcon Lab where our Creative Technology Curator, Dr. Jake Rowan Byrne, other “makers” and members of the community will be there and keen to help out. So bring along projects you're working on so we can work on them together. Or if you're just starting, bring the idea and we'll help you get started. There will be some Arduino and Raspberry Pi kit available to play with at the event. We are also hoping to host a "Hackathon" in late April, so come along to our maker evenings or get trained up in the basics at our beginner courses so that we can get your skills honed for what we hope will be a fun and exciting "Hackathon".
