What to tell the kids ?

Hello,

I am new to the group, so not sure if this has been covered, but I am VERY keen to hear how other people are dealing with educating their kids on religion. I am constantly undoing what is being casually taught at schools, Aunt's house, Granny's / Ouma's house etc. My kids are 3 and 4. I don't want them to waste a single minute of their lives actually believing in any supernatural powers.

But I battle sometimes, because when I explain where Bob Marley has gone, the science and glum nature of it is met with straight faces, whereas my wife sometimes steps in with heavens and bliss and pure poetry.

I also don't know if I should be telling the Teacher, please don't talk about that stuff to my kiddies.

I don't know. I've read a lot, and the details on this subject are not easily found.

I know there is an aspect of this being discussed at next week's meetup, but my suggestion / questions are more directly related to my / our children.

So, ideas would be most welcome.
