My main purpose for starting this group is to get in shape and of course, lose weight. I find it easier when I exercise consistently and it is much easier doing this with a group working towards a goal! This program is based on the Duke Live for Life Run/Walk and Walking program. At the meetups there are members at varying fitness levels, so everyone can participate!
Everyone may be running at different intervals (depending on individual progression through the program). It's suggested you bring your own timer if you are strictly following the program OR feel free to run/walk with another member. If you know in advance what training you will be doing, please post in your RSVP so the rest of us know who we may want to pair up with. All levels of fitness encouraged to join us! Read more
