Bitcoin Discussieavond + MeetUp in Rotterdam

Op woensdag 18 september staat het maandelijkse Arminius Denkcafé (http://www.arminius.nu/entry/520/geld-20&source=agenda) in het teken van bitcoin. Die avond gaan Robert-Reinder Nederhoed (http://nederhoed.com/) (Bitcoin-ondernemer (http://www.bitmymoney.com)) en Simon Lelieveldt (http://www.simonl.org/) (expert in de geschiedenis van geld) met elkaar in gesprek over de vraag of bitcoins een volwaardig alternatief zijn voor ons huidige geld. Thema’s als de crisis, de problemen met het huidige geldsysteem en de kracht van bitcoins komen aan bod.

De discussie duurt van 20.00 tot 21.00, waarna er op dezelfde locatie een Bitcoin MeetUp zal plaatsvinden zodat geinteresseerden eerst de discussie kunen bijwonen om daarna met elkaar verder te kunnen praten over bitcoin en aanverwante zaken.

On Wednesday, September 18 the monthly Arminius Denkcafé (http://www.arminius.nu/entry/520/geld-20&source=agenda) will be all about bitcoin: Robert-Reinder Nederhoed (http://nederhoed.com/) (Bitcoin entrepreneur (http://www.bitmymoney.com/)) and Simon Lelieveldt (http://www.simonl.org/) (an expert on the history of money) will discuss the question whether bitcoins are a viable alternative to our current money.

The discussion is from 20.00 to 21.00 but people are invited to stay around for the bitcoin MeetUp that will take place in the same location immediately after the discussion. Also, while the discussion part of the evening will be in Dutch, you'll have no problem finding English-speaking bitcoiners at the post-discussion meetup.
